Coming up against Boston Uprising after taking Florida Mayhem to a fifth game on Thursday, Shanghai Dragons seemed to be in the perfect position to take their first victory of the inaugural Overwatch League season.
Despite going the entirety of Stage 3’s regular season unbeaten, falling only to New York Excelsior in the playoff final, Boston Uprising has had a torrid time in Stage 4. Heading in to the Shanghai clash, Boston had recorded just one win in seven games.
However, despite showing promise against Florida, Shanghai Dragons returned to their old ways. Boston produced a 4-0 sweep to end all hope of their opponent’s securing a victory this season.
With two games left to play, Shanghai face two strong sides in second-placed Los Angeles Gladiators and play-off chasing side San Francisco Shock. Barring a miraculous turnaround, Shanghai Dragons seem set to produce a 0-40 season.

Man its genuinely heartbreaking going from that Florida game to this one, you guys gotta stop being scared of the Zarya Rein, especially considering Geguri’s renowned Zarya skills. Trying it out has gotta be better than whatever happened today

Disband. Set your players free.

you guys ever planning on winning a game? seems like quite a large investment for such a mediocre return.

As much as I want them to win, Shanghai Dragons have to be the worst E-Sports team in history.

The @ShanghaiDragons is an utter disgrace to the OWL. Unbelievable how they haven’t picked up a single win

Sucks seeing the Shanghai Dragons basically be everyone elses’ punching bag in Overwatch League. They definitely need to rest after this week’s rough matches.

Literally the reply I was gonna write, its so draining being a Dragons fan when they get so close and lose extremely winnable games, and then look like an absolute joke for several games after
