The fourth stage is underway, but fans are already turning their attention to the Overwatch League Grand Final.
Tickets for the showpiece event went on sale yesterday via Ticketmaster, with league organisers Blizzard putting a number of packages up for sale with just over two months to go until the inaugural Overwatch League season reaches its climax.
However, those that were hoping to get their hands on the Grandmaster package are out of luck. The package upgrade, which cost $75 on top of the $60 charge for Overwatch League Grand Finals tickets, sold out within hours.
Upgrade packages entitle fans to VIP treatment. They will be able to take part in meet and greets and photo shoots with Overwatch League professionals and gain priority access to the stadium.
Floor seating tickets have also sold out. There are still general admission tickets available, but it is unknown how long for this will be the case. Given how fast the upgrade packages have sold out, demand seems to be high. You should move quickly if you want to secure Overwatch League Grand Finals tickets. General admission tickets grant fans access to the stadium over the two days playoffs.
The organiser’s decision to hold the Overwatch League Grand Finals at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, has proved to be a smart one. With a maximum capacity of 19,000, the venue offers the opportunity to sell far more tickets than they could have were they to hold it at the Blizzard Arena, which has played host to the OWL throughout the entire first season.
