Those familiar with Fortnite’s emerging esports scene will know all about TSM Myth, one of the hugely popular battle royale game’s best players.
Aside from his Team SoloMid teammate Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, Myth is probably the most well-known player in Fortnite’s competitive community.
He boasts more than 4m followers on video game streaming platform Twitch. That puts him second on the overall charts, behind only Ninja. Likewise, he has amassed 3.6m YouTube subscribers, 1m Twitter followers and an incredible 4.4m Instagram followers.
TSM Myth has been a star of the Fortnite community since the early days, but for a long time fans of the video game streamer were left stumped over his real name, a topic which he kept quiet about for some time.
However, his identity has since been unearthed, so what is the real name of TSM Myth?
TSM Myth real name
TSM Myth is otherwise known as Ali Kabbani, a 19-year-old teenager from Michigan, United States.
Ali “Myth” Kabbani started his foray into gaming in 2013 when he created his YouTube channel. However, he didn’t start streaming on Twitch until 2016.
His go-to title was Paragon, a online battle arena game developed by Epic Games. When Epic released Fortnite in late 2017, Kabbani tried his luck with the battle royale game. That ultimately proved to be the right move.
In January 2018, Myth has some 200,000 Twitch followers. That had increased by 3m by the middle of the year.
In what has been a hugely successful year for the Fortnite streamer, Myth has joined leading esports organisation TSM and was named as the team’s captain.
With Fortnite esports rapidly growing in both size, financial backing and popularity, TSM Myth is set for a very, very bright future as one of the community’s leading figures in both skill and popularity.
